Electric Aircraft

  ______________
Kevan Gillings with his Flair Puppeter which he built from a plan not the kit! Powered by a brushless 900 watt motor swinging a 12.5 x 6 prop which pulls 800 watts of power from the six cell 4350 mAh Li-po battery pack. Kev has been modelling for 55 years flying both control line and RC but has recently become an electric fanatic.

Pictured right is Kev with his Great Planes Extra that he converted from IC to electric. Fitted with a 600 Watt outrunner motor ,4 cell 4350 mAh Li-po battery and a 60a ESC. It swings a 14 x 7 prop and fly's as good as it looks!

Stef Reynolds converted to electric around 3 years ago and has not looked back since. The photo to the left is his Sebart Kantana 30E powered by a Hacker A30-14L swinging a 14 x 7 prop using a Castle Creations 80a ESC and a three cell Li-po battery pack ranging between 2500 and 3300mAh.

And the photo to the right is Stef with his Ripmax Spitfire powered by a Scorpion Motor which is coupled with a Castle Creation ESC. He is a SPEED DEMON!

Steve McWeeney with his ParkZone spitfire.                     These small electric ready-to-fly war birds look really realistic in the air and although small are not twitchy or hard to fly. When Steve is flying his, there is always a few on-looking jealous eyes!

On your left Daniel Reynolds (yours truly) with his Sebart Angel S30E powered by a Hacker A30-10XL swinging a 15 x 8 APC prop with a Castle Creations 80a ESC.

On your right, I am with my Sebart Sukhoi S30E and again it is powered by a Hacker A30-10XL swinging an APC 15 x 8 prop. But in this model I have a Mystery Premium 80a ESC.

Both are powered by a three cell Li-po battery pack ranging between 2500 and 3300mAh.

I am now trying to perform more precise aerobatic flying.

Duncan Langford with his Parkzone Messerschmitt Bf-109G, he bought it in its Bind-N-Fly form, which comes with everything except the transmitter. This is Duncan's first plane after his trainer and he is looking forward to having a few dogfights with the other warbirds down the field.
